Daybeds with Trundle?
Has anyone with a trundle bed used the two twin mattresses in a crosswise direction on the bed springs. When the bed is made up to a King sized bed, it seems strange that the person sleeping on the inside(within the framework),can't get out easily. If possible can you give me some hints on using this daybed.

Hello, A trundle bed was never designed to be used this way, it was just a way to store the second bed. It is used as a twin bed independently. If your turn the mattresses crosswise the framework for the springs will kill your back while your are sleeping. Also the mattresses turned crosswise are 3 inches wider than the length of a twin mattress, so it may not fit. Good Luck
